A Report on Beer Price Inflation

Something tells me that Paul Krugman is probably aware of this inflation. Steve Stuck emails:

I closely monitor inflation through various prices and the grocery store is one of them. You know I live in central Indiana and we are considered stable on prices, but things are really taking off. My wife who does most of the grocery shopping has noticed not only pricing going up, but size of things shrinking while prices are staying the same. Got one for you. Beer has dramatically gone up big time. Case of Miller Lite tonight at a low cost grocery store is now on sale for $15.99. Their regular price they show is $19.49... for years grocery stores here would show $15-$16 BEFORE sale price which usually would then hit $13-$14.
