Janet Yellen's Husband to Teach at Georgetown

George Akerlof, husband of Fed chair Janet Yellen, will begin teaching at Georgetown University in November.

Akerlof, 74, has spent most of his career teaching at the University of California at Berkeley.  He won the Nobel Prize in economics in 2001 (with Michael Spence and Joseph Stiglitz) for his work, “The Market for Lemons: Quality Uncertainty and the Market Mechanism."
