Mitch McConnell: Obamacare Could Be Rewritten

He has said this before, and now he is putting emphasis on it.

The Republicans, now that they control the House and Senate, are not going to put a stake in Obamacare, they are going to rewrite the legislation.

Translation: Government interference with the healthcare system will continue, the difference being that Republican cronies will benefit, not the Democratic cronies.

Specifically, McConnell told reporters yesterday that "If the [Supreme]court would rule the way they might, we could be in a very large comprehensive revisitation" of U.S. healthcare policy.

The SC is expected to rule by the end of June on a conservative challenge to an important part of Obamacare, tax-credit subsidies.
