LA County to Create Office to Enforce New Minimum Wage

The Board of Supervisors voted on Tuesday to create an office to help enforce Los Angeles County’s new minimum wage and prevent “wage theft.”

“This is a big historic step for us,” Supervisor Hilda Solis  told her colleagues. “It sends a strong message to employers, especially those that don’t play by the rules.

Yes, make it impossible for low skilled workers to get jobs because a $15.00 minimum wage is higher than their hourly marginal revenue production.

  1. It's a wonder anyone can do business in this country. I was looking at the Wall of Labor Regulations at my job the other day. Unreal.
