Former Bear Stearns CEO Alan Greenberg dead at 86

Greenberg was CEO from 1978 to 1993 and was chairman of the board from 1985 to 2001. He was chairman of the executive committee when the firm collapsed in 2008 and was sold to J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
