A witness at a restaurant in the vicinity told RTL that police had ordered the people to finish their meals and “wait for their signal to evacuate.”
Police ordered people living in Rue de Midi to close their windows. Security forces have put the street and adjacent streets on lockdown, local newspaper La Libre reported.
