The fires surrounding San Francisco caused high altitude smoke to darken the city yesterday with an eerie glow overhead. The smoke was at too high an altitude so you couldn't smell it but it was near pitch dark at street level.
Here are some pictures I took at around 11:00 AM yesterday:
This morning the orange glow is gone from the sky but smoke continues to block the sun but it is more of a rainstorm type cloud feeling today.
Perhaps you'll soon have a legitimate reason to wear a face mask.
