Op-Eds Behind the WSJ Pay-Wall

Am I the only one that has noticed? Does anyone else read WSJ OP-Eds?

For the last week or so, WSJ has put them behind its pay-wall, yet i haven't seen any comment about it.

It appears that overall WSJ now has increased the amount of its content behind the paywall to around 80% to 90% of all its content, from probably 50%.

I don't think I am quite up to paying for a neo-con screed telling me that taxes need to be raised so that we can attack the Italian speaking region of Switzerland.

  1. I have noticed and I agree with your assessment - its not worth the price. The value is in the headlines as the content seems as biased as the NYT (although in a neo-con direction).

However, there is a big market for neo-con blatherings and it could be successful.
