The state of California has borrowed $6.9 billion. Michigan has borrowed $3.9 billion, Illinois $2.2 billion.

Politicians in their greed to get elected...and, yes, the American people in their perpetual STUPIDITY of believing all the lies about getting "free stuff", who voted those same politicians into office -- are now reaping what they sowed on a national level.
The second way America is emulating us is the "work as a daily hire" business model, where creative Hollywood personnel traditionally hop from job to job, but never really have any solid career. More and more companies are also adopting this tactic and telling employees "I'll pay you to work TODAY, but make NO promises about TOMORROW. oh, and by the way, there's NO BENEFITS AT ALL."
It's bad enough that jobs are hard to find, but because this business model is being adapted across the board, you're seeing more and more people - at best - only finding TEMPORARY jobs that pay dirt and have no long term longevity.
Meanwhile, Obama and the Dems keeps spending like a drunken sailor on shore leave, thus crippling actual business growth and ruining any chance of getting things back on track.
In shorter language: BOY, ARE WE SCREWED!

ReplyDeleteWhy not hire and train out of work legal people to guard our borders, give them ten bucks an hour, work 12 hour shifts. If the non-employed do not want to do this then give them brooms to sweep the streets and pick weeds and trash from the side of the road.

Just because we are civilized does not mean that when enough people are cut off of benifits and food is scarce for families things are going to start to get ugly. I live in Kansas and the midwest has always been a soveriegn place to live. We have seen a dramatic number of home invasions and car jackings that is unpresented. Things are going to get worse before they get better, and we have not hit rock bottom yet. I don't think there is a turning back at this point. Either we cut a deal and give part of what we own land to China and scrap the board clean or within two years the united states flag will be converted to a Red Flag with 5 golden stars. We have just been assimulated and bought out.

What is most worrisome is the 4000 some odd nuclear weapons these criminally insane individuals have at their disposal. Government workers, police and agents who help prop up the criminally insane who hold the reins of power also bear the responsibility of cronyism of historic proportions destined to go down in human history as major reason these criminally insane leaders are able to wrought their destruction. A small example of the royalty position these crony's have to their power masters is, a 3-4 year experienced New York State Trooper makes around $200,000 a year, this effectively separates them from normal society and of course history will cite these individuals and their families and many in Federal employ as a major cause of the destruction their benefactors cause.

This is understandable - the greater the population, the greater need of money for unemployment benefits. But! Pay attention to geography. Central part of the United States either do not require subsidies, or require a much smaller scale in relation to population, than in other states. For example, in Texas and Florida, the population is high, and subsidies are needed minor. This is a trend. I wonder what could this mean?

Currently California is about $30 BILLION in the hole, of which 25-30% is money taken up by providing services to illegal aliens.
So therein lies the irony. You're right, Anonymous. The "moron Californian" is paying OUT anywhere from $7-9 billion to illegals, so OF COURSE he's hoping the government will send a BIG check California's way.
The problem is, "moron Californian" wants his law cut cheap or a maid cleaning his house...but he's ALSO too cheap a bastard to see ANY California taxes raised, which actually IS the biggest reason California is so locked into a death spiral financially. Californians want it all, but continually refuse to PAY for any of it.
Now how about a chart showing the total amount of money the illegal aliens have drained from local, state and federal government? I've seen it posted at $8 trillion.
