NOW Prez Charges Geithner a Wall St Influenced Sexist

First they threw Simon Johnson at Geithner.

Then we had the WaPo luv fest interview of Elizabeth Warren.

Followed by  a pro-Warren rap video.

Now, the pro-Warren forces are back attacking Geithner. This time as a supposed sexist pig.

The National Organization of Women president Terry O'Neill, in an interview with NyPo, said, "As an outsider, I think he's a man with such deep ties to Wall Street that I don't know how the sexism of that industry hasn't imbued his Treasury."

"Treasury is a notoriously sexist and misogynist industry and the good old boys don't like..[Warren]," the NOW president said. "It's the testosterone-fueled attitude that drove our economy off a cliff, and yet the president has advisers that are from that industry."

I have no idea what Geithner's views are on women [Neither does O'Neill], but I can assure you this has nothing to do with Geithner's views on women. Notice O'Neill has been silent about the ever increasing number of women charging Al Gore with being a pig, and an aggressive naked one at that.

This is all about the Elizabeth Warren machine. The rap video was aimed at the rap crowd and the NOW attack is aimed at NOW followers. They are trying to build a groundswell of support for Warren. It's as sophisticated as it is ugly.

  1. "Deep ties to Wallstreet?" Uh Duh. Wouldn't anyone serving as a President of a Fed Bank and then treasury secretary of the US be tied to Wall street? Isn't that kind of what goes with those jobs? I am sure to the average economically ignorant liberal her argument makes complete sense.
