  1. Yglesias thinks Romney might not be so bad after all because he has Mankiw for an advisor and he's not one of those hard money crazies:

  2. @BobRoddis,

Then Yglesias' thinking leaves alot to be desired, now doesn't it?

  3. Ha! I figured out Mankiw's trick a while ago. The NYT pay wall is a bit more complicated, I swear I reached my "20 article limit" weeks ago yet I can still access articles this month. Not sure how that works.

  4. Why the hell would anyone choose to read the NYTimes, especially more than 20 articles a month?!?!?

  5. Anytime my friend sends me a link to a news article, usually from the FT or WSJ, I just type the link or the name of the article or what it's about into Google News and hit search and read it that way, for free.

  6. @Richard- I read Krugman's blog and Thomas Friedman for comic relief. I really like Maureen Dowd's and Gail Collins' writing style. And I read Mankiw's and Tyler Cohen's columns whenever they come up. Somehow I reach 20 articles that way.

  7. Yes, I figured this out a while ago. Another trick that I have used with some success is to swap DNS servers while still on the site and then selecting a new article. But, that was a while ago when WSJ allowed so-many views per month, per IP. I don't know if they still do that or not. I currently have full-access due to a good friend.
