  1. Anybody know if the GOP has approached Comedy Central about sponsoring one of these?

  2. If Obama, by executive order, imposed a moratorium on Republican presidential debates, it would be the highlight of his presidency.

  3. I wonder if they will give Dr. Paul even less time than CBS?

  4. I wonder how many seconds Ron Paul will get this time?

  5. Subtitle: the 90th second.

No, this time it will be better. They're limiting each debater to 89 seconds!

  7. I bet they will once again try to say that Ron Paul thinks 911 was America's fault. And boo him and not realize that what he is actually saying about it is the truth.

    Here's another prediction:

Michelle Bachman will say: "Israel....greatest ally...Israel...ally....bomb Iran...Ronald Reagan"

Although, that might really apply to most of the other candidates too.

  8. I see zero reason for a "national security" debate to take place other than a planned attack to gang up on Ron Paul's anti-status quo position.

I mean, every single one of the other GOP candidates have identical "national security" positions. There is nothing for any of them to even "debate." They would only nod in agreement and bicker over minor details like whether or not to bomb Tehran on a Wednesday morning or a Wednesday afternoon.

  9. These debates are excellent educational events. Ron Paul is only going to attract intelligent and informed people. Repeatedly seeing these ignoramus war-mongering Republicans and the pathetic bias of both the liberal and Faux TV networks is an educational experience that will last a lifetime for many Ron Paul newbies. Smart people are going to recognize what is going on and will be appalled.

As I repeat ad nauseum, our opponents have nothing of substance to say against us (although I am amazed at the level of ineptitude they display with their doubletalk, lies and BS). Smart people can see that too. Let the debates go on and on.

  10. I'm betting the Doc gets a susbstantial boost in face time. CNN took major flack last time, and CBS really screwed the pooch with that email to Bachmann's campaign, so they'll need to really play nice tonight.

That being said, expect Dr. Paul to get some nasty, NASTY questions, and expect Frothy Santorum to be the attack dog they sick on the good Doc.

  11. Why are Hunstman and Santorum even allowed in the debates?

Don't they, at some point, start to weed some people out? Maybe up the requirements a little bit?

Maybe those polling ABOVE 3% nationally. That would at least get rid of those 2 morons.
