False Flag Operation Coming against USS Enterprise?

The USS Enterprise is scheduled to be in the Gulf in the next few weeks. It is the oldest US naval ship that is currently active (other than the original 215 year old USS Constitution), also it is a nuclear-powered ship. It is supposed to be decommissioned next year, which means that this is probably the last deployment that this ship will ever see. It will be then headed for the junk yard.

Speculation is growing that this would be a perfect ship on which to launch a false flag attack.

The U.S. has clearly been trying to push Iran into a corner by attempting to stop the purchase by anyone of Iranian oil. Europe has gone along with this, China has not.

Infowars writes:
If a conflict is to ignite in the Persian Gulf in 2012, it is highly likely that the US or Israel will use the false flag option. Two reasons support this. Firstly, Iran lacks a motive to want to engage in a suicidal first strike against the axis powers – a move which would no doubt cost them thousands of innocent lives and billions in infrastructure. Frankly, it’s safe to say that it’s not at all in the Iranian national interest to start such a conflict. History does show however, that the US and Israel can – and will, employ the technique of the false flag attack, where they would engineer an incident and then blame it on the Iranians. By all accounts, this is also how the US was able to fake their way into the costly and bloody Vietnam War, via the infamous Gulf of Tonkin Incident.

Recent weeks have seen a massive build-up of naval assets in the Persian Gulf by both the US and the British. The irony of surface naval power in the 21st century is that it is only good for one thing, and that is the ‘projection of force’. In fact, Naval Power ceased to be a major factor geopolitical power-play since the dawn of the 20th century, when it was usurped by Air Power.

As Great Britain learned in the Falklands War back in 1982, even a single French Exocet missile can sink a battleship, or aircraft carrier. Iran has more than this capability, so for all practical purposes, any American ships in the region are nothing more than bait – large, slow sitting targets. Which begs the obvious question: why would the US be sending its soon-to-be decommissioned, rusty chess piece – the 50 year old nuclear-powered USS Enterprise carrier into the line of fire in the Persian Gulf? A very large and expendable, floating museum, and one which, interestingly enough with its six on board nuclear reactors… would probably cost a fortune to dispose of.

  1. I have long believed that Alex Jones is an agent provocateur. He speaks about 95% truth, but then sneaks in some massive bullshit to discredit the whole liberty movement. I have listened to him on shows like Coast to Coast AM for around a decade or so and am completely convinced of this.

Some of his stories are just far too ridiculous like the claim that he infiltrated the Bohemian Grove. Yes, I actually listened to him talk about it on C2C years ago. It was and is pure bullshit, just like a lot of his stories where he is attacked in parking garages, etc. If he really infiltrated some high level elite meeting like he claims then he would be dead.

I really sort of cringe when I see lew rockwell or drudge or this blog link to anything Jones related

    1. It's funny you bring up the Bohemian Grove. Not only is there video of that incident but Bohemian Grove members like David Gergen have been asked about it by Alex Jones. Just google David Gergen and Alex Jones and you can watch Gergen flip out over Alex making that video. I'd never heard of anyone claim this actually never happened before. That sounds like a tin foil hat conspiracy to me.

    3. He made a documentary of Bohemian Grove where he snuck in...not saying that Alex Jones doesn't exxagerate and embellish at times...but he did go to Bohemian Grove. It is well documented and many others have snuck in before as well. Try to pick something at least legitimate to criticize him for.

    5. I agree mostly with what you have said. I used to listen to Alex Jones but finally had to stop. Some of his claims go way off the edge. Though I believe a majority of what he says is true, he dramatizes way too much.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that I cringe when I see Lew Rockwell or Bob Wenzel link to him though.

    6. Bob and Lew wouldn't link to something unless they thought it was a reasonable possibility, no matter who the link is from. JMHO

    7. I think Jones has stuff all of the time that has a reasonable possibility. Scheuer said a couple weeks ago on freedom watch that our government was already in the process of baiting iran into doing something stupid.

But when he says that the 911 hijackings were a CIA job?!?!?! To me that discredits everything else. And yes, I have heard him state that on Coast to Coast AM with my own ears.

The United States is the moral compass for the world and if you don't believe it go somewhere else and live. There is corruption and greed every where so don't throw that in my face.

    9. So no one else thinks Alex Jones could possibly be a Jesse Benton type who tries to discredit and destroy the liberty movement by putting in some bullshit once in a while? I do. I have heard Alex for years and years and simply do not trust the man one bit.

Has anyone responded to Alex's claim that the 911 hijackers were an inside job done by the CIA? There is a lot of bs about 911 that can be questioned, but saying they were CIA agents!?!?!??

    10. Has everyone dismissing this out of hand forgotten all of the CIA plants in the media like William F Buckley or Anderson Cooper? Why is it so hard to believe they wouldn't get someone who appears to be on the liberty movement and then try to discredit those groups and the movement, just like the FBI and ATF have done for around two decades with operation PATCON?

  3. Sounds plausible.

Another potential target: USS Vincennes, which shot down the Iranian airliner in '88, and was purportedly scrapped. But, it appears that she was afloat in Puget Sound (scroll down for photo) until she was towed out in the middle of the night, potentially to Bahrain:

  5. I very much disagree. While Jones can be dramatic at times, he puts out some amazing info. I can't tell you how many times I've heard his show break a story, and at times I've even found it implausible, only to see it broken in the mainstream media weeks later. He has very informative guests too, are they all shills?

Maybe it is you who is the provocateur? Something to consider.

PS - He definitely snuck into Bohemian Grove.

    1. Yes, with my wide audience of the people reading the comments section here I am discrediting the entire libertarian movement. I will just say this: as someone who has been following Austrians like Ron Paul and Lew for at least a decade, as well as listening to probably dozens of Alex Jones interviews with multiple hosts when he appeared on Coast to Coast AM, I do not trust Alex anywhere near as much as I do Lew, Wenzel, Tom Woods, Ron Paul, etc. Do you? Be honest. Hell, I trust matt drudge a hell of a lot more.

    2. Vincennes has been scrapped, the only member of her class so far that has met her fate that way (another, the Valley Forge, was sunk in 2006 during a Fleet Exercise). The ships are quite distinctive with this Mk 26 twin arm missile launchers - the other ships in the class has a Mk 41 Vertical Launch system which looks like a flat plate on the deck. Here is a link to a photo of her scrapping:

  7. Everyone here appears to think that Alex Jones is the primary individual behind this warning of a potential false-flag attack. Actually, Michael Rivero of WhatReallyHappened.com was the first. His first warning came on 1-14-12 (see first link below). On 1-23-12, he reported that the USS Enterprise is being sent to the Persian Gulf (second link below). In fact, the text of his Enterprise report is the narrative you hear in the above video, word for word. If you look at the logo at the 15-second mark on the video, you will see his last name, "Rivero."

I'm very glad that Mr. Wenzel is spreading the word. I've been doing the same thing.

If the event mentioned in the video and article never happens, maybe it will have been because this video and article (among others) made it impossible to pull it off. If so, we will never know. If the event never comes to pass due to this publicity, then the video maker and author of the article will seem "crazy." Let's hope this is exactly how it plays out. It's much better to be seen as crazy (and thus save lives) than to watch tens or hundreds of thousands of innocent people die for a lie.

    1. A lot of the people who feed information to Rivero are the same that feed info to Jones (or, Wenzel, Rockwell, Drudge, etc). That is the great thing about the internet, low-profile people who are in the know and have specialized knowledge about certain topics can share it with those who have a greater platform to disseminate such information.

I agree, I would much rather have something like this getting out there to put a stop to potential incidents before they happen. I think that a lot of things have been been stopped in their tracks before they even started because of stories like these. The unfortunate thing is that you never really know if you have stopped a potential occurrence or if you're just pissing into the wind.

    2. Joseph: "A lot of the people who feed information to Rivero are the same that feed info to Jones (or, Wenzel, Rockwell, Drudge, etc)."

MJW: I totally agree. But "Rivero, Jones, Wenzel, Rockwell, Drudge, etc." also serve as sources of information for one another, which I think is outstanding and is the entire purpose of the internet. In this case, the point I was really trying to make is that credit should be given to Rivero for the narrative of the video. I honestly don't know what possessed me to obscure that point by writing the first three sentences of my previous comment. I regretted it shortly after I clicked the "Publish" button (luckily, for Mr. Wenzel's sake, but not for mine, there is no "Edit" option that would allow readers like myself to revise our comments; ha?).

Finally, the last paragraph of your comment is perfectly stated. I couldn't agree more. I've been saying the same thing for the past several years, and I was trying to say the same thing in my previous comment. You said it much better than I did.

    3. MJW,
Yes, I completely agree. The internet is great in both respects. This is obviously what the powers that be are trying to stop, they don't want information flowing this freely, except amongst themselves.

As for Rivero, he certainly deserves credit for being the first guy to get this information out there (Jones didn't even give him a citation). I go to Mike's site and have had email correspondence with him in the past, and he is very good on certain foreign policy and domestic issues. He is even good on some economic issues, though I do have certain disagreements with him on this subject (trust me, he is aware of this). He definitely does a whole lot better at fleshing some things out than the MSM, so he provides a needed service.

As for the video, I am a former US Navy Sailor, so stuff like this really hits home for me. I don't agree with our foreign policy, but I also don't want to see sailors (or, anybody) be used as pawns for the benefit of a few. Sure, the claim in the video is speculation, but it isn't entirely inconceivable given the realities, both present and past. The fact remains, we don't know and we may never know.

  9. I have heard Alex Jones claim 911 was a CIA operation. Come on. Of course he breaks a lot of stories and has plenty of good stuff, but the wrong stuff he says, whether intentional or not, outweighs the rest.

He is either just an attention whore who says outlandish stuff to get attention like a howard stern type, or he really is intentionally saying wrong stuff to try and discredit the whole movement.

The Bohemian Grove stuff? What? I heard him talk about it where he claimed he conned other people there by saying he was with the Bushes or some elite family. I am sorry, but I don't believe it went down anything like he said it did.

    2. He has latched on to the Ron Paul bandwagon in recent years, but I listened to him doing four or three hour interviews all the way back in the old Art Bell days. I specifically heard him say on George Noory's show about three or four years ago that he had proof that 911 was a CIA operation and inside job.

Alex says lots and lots of things.

    3. Umm, 9/11 WAS a CIA operation.

      How is that unbelievable?

In Democracy you can't start wars just whenever you want. You have to have sacrifice some of your people in a false flag operation to trick the voters into backing your offensive war that they view as defensive ironically.

Even old warlords thousands of years ago would find a scapegoat or hire a saboteur to cause terrorism they could blame on their enemies.

Why do people want democracy? Simple answer: they love being lied to. Democracy guarantees the best liar takes power and can tell the people what they want to hear, while covertly killing anyone who gets close to the truth.

Why do you think we have 1 million intelligence operatives working domestically? That's WAY more than enough to run a shadow government AND ensure the media never makes a peep.

    1. If you remember back to when OBL got whacked, there were some reports about tension between Obama and the generals regarding how to deal with OBL. One specific story that I heard and seemed to make sense was that the generals told Obama that they were going to take out OBL and that Obama should get behind that decision immediately.

While this is only conjecture, I wouldn't be surprised if the WH doesn't have as much control over the military/CIA/relations with Israel (specifically, relations with Mossad) as is assumed. Furthermore, everyone knows about the "rally around the flag" effect and how it increases a President's numbers. I wouldn't put it past the pentagon to pull off the false flag incident without WH knowledge/approval and then strong arm the WH into getting behind the military reaction by using the leverage of the rally around the flag effect to sweeten the deal.

      Delete
    2. What makes you think the White House is involved? Or even knows?

      Delete
    3. I can't see why there would be any 'tension' as killing Osama was a PR gift.
Rally round the flag? oil prices spiking dramatically will kill off any joy amongst the bloodthirsty.
basically the only thing that has kept us freeish up to this point is competition between factions in the Elite. Thats why you see the White house telling congress to take a long walk off a short pier, they are not going to give that power over to Langley or the pentagon.

  11. Years ago I thought A. Jones was a complete nutcase by giving warnings of impossible things to come. His warning proved to be accurate and it is I who was wrong. Thus I listen to his broadcasts often. He often rants as our system unwinds, but him message is no less completely accurate. His guests are varied and informative. Alex has warned about fluoride and flu shots. Recently he had Dr A. Wakefield on his show discussing an immunization and autism connection. Big Pharma attacked him, but I read today his studies have been vindicated. Jones warns about a Police State where the Constitution would be ignored and government could jail people without a jury and even kill them. Impossible! The recent NDAA however states just that! Jones is a voice in the wilderness, but we would be wise to heed is warnings. He is correct that we are in an information war, a struggle for the minds of men (meaning humans). I too think we are currently in deep do-do and things are getting worse, not better.

    1. The maker of the video is somebody that goes by the name of "The Heretic". All of this footage was compiled from pre-existing footage. The voice-over is the same guy that does the voice-overs for Rivero's internet radio show. It probably cost a few hundred bucks: the cost to pay the voice actor and the licenses (if any) for the use of the film footage.

    1. I have been reading into this conspiracy and as much as it sounds like a bunch of people who think they know what they are talking about, they make valid points. I am an American Sailor attached to the Enterprise and will be on her for this last voyage. It will be my second time on this vessel. I will say from experience onboard last deployment, the media doesnt always get the stories correct. I am not overly concerned with peoples opinion of what will happen, but its in the back of my mind. My mother might find it troubling to read about these possibilities, but I am deploying to do what I joined to do.

There are a lot of red flags to me. 1)The navy has not thought about where it will decommission in a little over a year...shouldnt there be some sort of news by this time? 2)They told us we needed time with family, and we should already be underway 3)Oldest and most famous ship not going on a world tour. There are more somethings I wouldnt post for the world to see, but I think people should think about these things even though I am skeptical. I like to think better of my leaders, but if this is the way it is...so be it. We will do our job no matter what, and we will live like there is no tomorrow. Dont worry America!

Posting such treasonous and defaming garbage on your website regarding a very, very distinguished United States Aircraft Carrier leaves little doubt as to YOUR motives. I would hang you by your toes for TREASON immediately were I in charge. And all you readers out there should be ashamed at the grief that is being caused to the tens of thousands of friends and family members of the U.S.S. Enterprise, WHO, BY THE WAY, WILL RETURN in tact TO THE U.S.

  15. There are several factual errors in this video that lead me to doubt the expertise of those advising the producer. For one, the crew of the Enterprise is not 1700, it is 3000, plus another 1800 for the airwing.

The stuff about Pearl Harbor is patent nonsense. Nobody thought those battleships were obsolete; especially the Japanese who's own battleships were older - the IJN only completed two battleships after 1921, the Yamato and the Musashi, and used her other dreadnoughts extensively until late 1944. The US Navy thought highly enough about these ships that they went to considerable expense to return them to service, and 6 of the 8 battleships were back in the war, some as soon as a few months later. Also, Roosevelt did not move the ships from San Diego, instead the naval base was in San Pedro, in the Los Angeles area. Roosevelt, who had been Assistant Secretary of the Navy, was a naval buff with a lifelong affection for that service; it is very unlikely he would intentionally put the fleet at risk.

I could go on, but the point is, with critical background facts wrong, how can we trust an even more controversial assertion? Will those that promote this nonsense withdraw from public debate once it is proved wrong?

Oh, to the poster about the USS Vincennes (CG-49), she has been scrapped in Brownsville, Texas - heck if you search the web, you can see photos of her being torn apart. Now, that was a crime - she was a billion dollar warship that needed a bit of modernization to be as capable as her surviving sisters, but the politics of naval shipbuilding and repair are Byzantine (She and four of her sisters were supposed to be upgraded to VLS and Aegis Baseline 6, possible 7 in exchange for another class of ships to be built at a competing shipyard; the deal was not honored).
