'Freedom Watch' Canceled

Terrible news from Lew Rockwell.

FOX has cancelled Judge Napolitano's Freedom Watch. Writes Lew:
What an outrage. FOX has axed Judge Napolitano's show, and not for ratings reasons. But as much as we will all miss the greatest news and commentary show ever to appear on TV—this cretinous cancellation punishes the large audience most—there are more important things ahead for the Judge, and rightly so.

  1. Sad, but this gives him an opportunity to serve as Ron Paul's VP, assuming Paul manages to win the nomination.

  2. I felt this was coming too. I was so impressed with his show that I could not believe Fox would permit its existence. The media purges everything that the masses should not see, but as long as we have the internet there is still hope. This country is blatantly corrupt, oppressive- yet so few see it.

  3. How do we know it wasn't related to ratings? I think it's silly to say it's an "outrage" that a show gets cancelled. It's part of the business. And assuming it's because the show is liberatarian is a stretch. They KNEW it was before they contracted it.

One should open ones eyes to the world around you, see that the media is about controlling our views on everything. Politics=Media bias=Politics.

    3. We were arrested in the 80's for "practicing medicine without a license" by the Board of Medicine and because we had an honest judge, we won all counts: Iridology, Applied Kinesiology, colon therapy, nutritional counseling, homeopathy. A local judge testified on our behalf. The Board of Medicine tried to shut us down, the local papers: Washington Post and Washington Star (now obsolete), slandered us and printed lies even before the verdict. We were treated like criminals although not proven guilty even before the trial began. And you trust Fox News to say or do the right thing?!?

  4. As easy as it is for us all to sit her and cry foul we need to take a step back and think.

Fox business was created to compete directly with CNBC. Now, if you read the press release on this you would have read that it wasn't just the Judge's show that was cancelled but a few were. This is because a show like Freedom Watch didn't cover the economy/markets very often. Fox Business wants more market coverage shows to compete directly with CNBC. This is why they brought in people like Melissa Francis to do so.

As much as I hate to see the show cancelled I understand the business behind it. Though I don't know why they couldn't just make his show a weekend only deal.

    1. I get your point. It's well made. And if I might ask a question not directed at you.

How exactly does having Melissa Francis on their crap network increase the actual market coverage?

Sure, she talks...and is blonde with doe eyes, which seem to be key attributes in Fox urinalists...but does she ADD anything? The answer, of course, is no. She is a wickedly vapid talking head CNBS alum, which makes listening to her commentary about as insightful as listening to Cramer.

Just venting. I hate CNBC and I hate Fox. I guess they can drone on about green shoots and the like. Won't that be swell.

  5. Please write to Ms. Irina Briganti at FOX Media Relations to protest this cancellation!

    irena.briganti@foxnews.com

Below is my email to her...

    Dear Ms. Briganti:

I recently heard of your network's intention to cancel one of my favorite news shows, "Freedom Watch' with Judge Andrew Napolitano. In my opinion, this will be a mistake of epic proportions. Much of what Judge Napolitano presents on his show can be found nowhere else on television, and his erudite and common-sense analysis of both daily news and social and political trends is both insightful and informative. His interviews and guests provide a sharp contrast to what is seen on most other news networks, and is one of the best shows on either FOX Business or FOX News.

I fail to see any logical reasoning behind this cancellation, as his ratings are steady, and he has one of the most devoted audiences. In addition, he continues to draw one of the highest audiences in the coveted 18-34 age demographic, so the decision to cancel is not only puzzling, but troubling. Is there more than just a 'business' reason for canceling 'Freedom Watch'? Or is his advocacy of libertarian vies anathema to what is increasingly and obviously becoming a growing ideological ossification at the FOX Networks of a mainstream Neo-Conservative Republican ideology?

I am what you would call a 'News Junkie'. I read, watch and view nearly EVERYTHING, from all viewpoints. I like the free exchange of ideas even if I do not agree with them. Your decision to muzzle the ONE libertarian Constitutionalist viewpoint on the air is not only disappointing to me (and millions of other viewers), but indicates a serious disregard for your viewers. If you decide to go ahead with this cancellation, I will not only refuse to watch any FOX network programs (FOX, FOX News, FOX Business), but will encourage others to do so. This will include usage of Social Media, letter writing, and writing to advertisers to encourage them not to buy air time on a network that disregards it's viewers in such a manner.

Having worked in the media and broadcast advertising for many years, I realize (as I'm sure you do) that for every person who takes the time to write to you, there are many, many more who feel the same way that do not write in- but merely stop watching. I assure you that this decision will not sit well with many conservatives who appreciate Judge Napolitano's voice and viewpoints, and I encourage you in the strongest terms to reconsider your decision.

    Sincerely,

    Thaddeus S. Kaczor, Jr,

    2. Mr. Kaczor
I agree with your point and well stated. Although I am not a liberitan as such but 'independent'.One thing I do not find a comment on is that the Honorable Judge Napolitano seems to have the knowledge to expose the entire corrupt judicial system that has deviated from the constitution and early courts of this country.
This is something surrounding our three branches of government at the highest levels, filtering down to the local governments.

When I was in school I learned the same things as this Honorable judge has spoken upon. Moreover, I would recomend that many people read his books - they are very informative.

  8. Let's all email the Fox VP and let them know the support The Judge has! The Judge was saying far too many anti-establishment things to last there, regardless of what his ratings were. They aren't going to give him a platform that contradicts what the teleprompting reading fools like O Reilly and Hannity say every day.

  16. Thank you Mr. Kazcor, Jr. We liberatarians thank you for giving us the e-mail address at Newscorp. My letter to them is below:

    Dear Mrs. Briganti:

It is quite a dissapointment and an achievement simultaneously that you cancelled the Freedom Watch show at 8:00
PM. It is dissapointing to see a truthfully neo-concervative show that Our Forefathers made this country into a Judeo-Christian
ethical and free country. Many countries followed our footsteps. I just witness US Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg say that Egypt should
not follow our Constitution because it is outdated. "The Judge" showed Americans why he gave up on being a Judge in the New
    Jersey Federal Courts.

As for the achievement, Rupert Murdoch's empire shows why Alex Jones has one of the biggest followings on the radio and
prisonplanet.tv (Rush is still the largest). Alternative media is making a huge breakthrough by showing Newscorp's true colors. I thank you for proving that Republican and Democrat are actually one of the same party. One is the right side and one is the left side.......OF THE SAME PARTY.

You and Newscorp's upper management show that you are a true supporter of THE NEW WORLD ORDER and Globalist Agenda. Anyone labeled a Globalist today is no different than Archie Bunker on All In The Family calling someone a Commie in the 1970's TV show. Thank you for showing that Fox News supports
Communism (AKA Global Corporate Takeover). A good example is Monsanto, one of the developers of Agent Orange that killed millions in Vietnam War
that was started by President LBJ. Why did we fight the Cold War for anyways? I kind of forgot in the New Millenium.

Are you going to fire John Stossel next? If so, then you show your true support for Globalism and, most likely, eugenics. The one greatest supporter
of Eugenics is Bill Gates, but that is never mentioned on your "concervative" network. I wonder why..............

    Sincerely,

    Daniel Israel

  17. Dear Ms, Briganti . . . I pay over $50 a month to watch an average of 2 hours a day on television. ALL of that 2 hours is watching Fox network - 1 hour of the Judge and the other hour divided between Fox Business, Hannity, O'\Reilly and Greta.

If Freedom Watch is cancelled, you can say goodby to me and anyone in my household on ANY of your remaining pretended truth programs.

  18. There are several options opened to Judge Andy - he can be the VP of Ron Paul and Andy can join the GBTV line-up 5-days (week-day) and "Judge Andy, Expanded" on Saturday or Sunday, featuring other guests or picking up topics covered by GBTV which need attention. There are 2 Conservative e-mails that I receive daily - ConservativeByte.com, godfatherpolitics.com which need to be read to the viewership - and give these 2 sources their proper-due. People can then sign-up to receive them daily. There are books written which are shown on BookTV.com which is part of our cable line-up. Andy has LOTS of chances to have full-rein of his future totally untethered by sponsors & ideology. Let's PRAY that God will use this useful brilliant-mind to its fullest capacity unimagined previously. "O that Wisdom may be found"

  19. I'm writing today in regards to the Fox News decision to cancel my favorite show on television, Freedom Watch. I am told the rating were good, but that it's just a business decision.

I can honestly tell you, this is the only show I regularly watch on the Fox Networks. If you wish to change the Business Channel, which is your right to do so, why not just move Freedom Watch over to the Fox News Channel instead? I understand that Andrew Napolitano is quite popular, why not give him a slot over there?

It seems to me we need a voice like his on the air in this country. There really is no one else on television that is for the Constitution, Individual Rights, States Rights, Limited Government, and the Founders Vision.

I hope the network will reconsider this decision, and perhaps instead, put the show on Fox News. I have several friends who have no exposure to the show, because the Fox Business Channel is not on their Cable or Dish Network line up. I would send them clips daily, and many really liked him and his message.

If his show is gone for good, I would have no reason to watch your network in the future. I'd hate to see that happen.

Thank you for your time in this matter.

  25. He had a good run and I'll be sorry to see this last iota of truth go. The good thing about his show was that he was a judge. That added credibility. He's a great guy, superior politics (I thank him for his Campaign for Liberty speeches). Just on technical skill as a talker and as a personality in a very competitive arena I think he was no better than a number of guys who do alternative media shows and don't have Fox News shows, like Michael Rivero http://www.renseradioarchives.com/whatreallyhappened/ who does 2 hours a day (check it out), so if the decision was made just on technical merits I could see this happening.

  27. Ah Grasshopper

Do you not understand what is happening? Do you think that they can silence this idea by censoring one man? The fact that they did this is a testament to the power of the message and how frantic they have become. As we progess, they will do much, much, much worse. They are fighting for their very existence. They will sell their mothers into prostitution, they will eat their own children, they will destroy America and the world, before they allow their system to collapse.

But, in their hearts, they know they are doomed - there is no way they can survive. Understand, now is when they are the most dangerous. They will start wars, arrest, silence, or assassinate opponents and critics, and do everything in their power to turn us against one another... think "Divide and Conquer".

They are now so wretched that the FBI is askng us to watch each other and report our activities to them. Is this not an act of total desperation? Are you afraid of your neighbor? I am not, and refuse to be!

And so, as the system collapses, have joy in your heart. Know that everything is unfolding exactly as it should. Watch and wait. Help every one you can. Know that we are all brothers under the skin. Love is the most powerful force in the universe. Individuals don't make war on each other, governments do...

Be of good cheer grasshopper, something wonderful is about to happen.

    1. Well said. According the book, 'The Curse of God', there was a'behind the scenes' 'real' reason for canceling the Judge having more to do with personal Murdock dirty deal making than ideology.
But you are right, we seem to already be over the tipping point of no return or solution. The systemic overdose of poison of our terminal society will eventually cause its demise in whatever form you name.

A collapse, or a re-set. Aided by the conventional similar type cut, burn, and poison, cancer 'cure'. Likely a War or Pandemic, to facilitate the breakdown. Good luck to all who somehow survive.

Sad, but just like when Beck was being muzzled, he went onto greener pastures, the internet, and guess what, now he is back with Dish under name of HIS network, Blaze, and I would like to see the Judge do the same thing, for the TRUTH must be told, and you will not hear it on lame stream media. Just like cable which took a huge chunk of audience away from major networks, now the internet is taking a large chunk from cable. As the world turns, so too do the media outlets. Let Freedom Ring will change the world, supress it, and we end up with what we have now with a fraud as president. The Judge says it like it is.
