A Voice America Won't Get to Hear Because of the Cancellation of "Freedom Watch"

Iris Mack emails:
That is too bad about the judge.

Just last week I was invited to appear on his show. I asked to postpone it for a couple of weeks due to international travels.

  1. I bet he will get a deal with another network on cable or something. There will definitely be no reason for me to watch FOX anymore now, that's for sure.

  2. I also no longer need to watch Fox anything. He will be missed. I looked forward to his show every night.

  3. You should reschedule Iris Mack for the Robert Wenzel Show. I'd love to hear you two go back and forth.

  4. While it's a shame that neo-cons apparently got Judge Nap booted, there is still the Internet. Surely there is a libertarian think-tank or two who might support a web-based version of Freedom Watch. (That's a hint, Lew Rockwell.)

  5. I was always wondering how the hell he stayed on for as long as he did! I figured it might have something to do with the use of the dialectic. Maybe it was just money? Fox knew they were losing a portion of the conservative viewership to the RP movement. I can't imagine that the things he said on his show made a lot of people up top happy.

The Judge has a capacity that is really lacking on television; the ability to be courteous and friendly to those with views opposite of his own. Guests like Charlie Rangel and Dennis Kucinich made the show doubly interesting because it was a place where debate could go on without being shouted down by the likes of O'Reilly.

Speaking of which, I think I will throw a huge party the day he goes off the air!
