Is Fear of Ron Paul Behind the Crazed Fed Speaking Binge?

Earlier today I posted about the incredible number of speeches Fed officials are making this week.

The Big  Petrovski comments, with plenty of justification:
I'm going to be wildly optimistic and say that all these speaking engagements for the Bernanck are a response to the Ron Paul Revolution.

  1. Compleely agree. When I saw that list, I actually expected to see another name on it. I go to Georgia Tech and received an e-mail a few days ago.

"The Georgia Tech Student Foundation Investments committee is hosting Dr. Gary Tapp, Director of Economic Education at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta on Tuesday, April 10 at 6pm in COM Room 200. He will discuss the importance of financial literacy amongst today's youth and what college students can do to help. In addition, you'll learn about the Investments Committee's new partnerships with local high schools to teach students the basics of personal finance. We hope to see you there!"

Not a Fed Gov. or Pres. but part of the Fed regardless.

  2. Federal Reserve seeks to indoctrinate youth on the importance of a central bank

"[The] Bank of the United States..is one of the most deadly hostility existing, against the principles and form of our Constitution... An institution like this, penetrating by its branches every part of the Union, acting by command and in phalanx, may, in a critical moment, upset the government. I deem no government safe which is under the vassalage of any self-constituted authorities, or any other authority than that of the nation, or its regular functionaries. What an obstruction could not this bank of the United States, with all its branch banks, be in time of war! It might dictate to us the peace we should accept, or withdraw its aids. Ought we then to give further growth to an institution so powerful, so hostile?" --Thomas Jefferson to Albert Gallatin, 1803. ME 10:437

  3. The last thing the banking cartel wants is a congressman and presidential candidate giving speech after speech to thousands of college students whose chant "End the Fed! End the Fed!"

Hope Ron has a food taster, unlike this guy:

  4. In '09 we had a former Chairman of the Richmond Fed come to our School. Funny thing the guy had a degree in Math, not Econ. I remember him saying how much he disliked economists. I regret not asking a bombshell question like "should the Fed be audited?". So really it started in late '08- '09 as a reaction to the Ron Paul Revolution. Only in recent months have they taken their propaganda into overdrive.
