Mounds of Dirt are about to Fly in the Presidential Race

Get your popcorn ready (large bucket). It looks like we may be in for a double feature.

It appears that Donald Trump has a copy of divorce papers once filed by Michelle Obama. It's not the divorce papers themselves that are the likely story but what Michelle said in them.

Meanwhile, on the Democratic side, Gloria Allred is trying to unseal some court records in Massachusetts. Radar online reports.

Famed civil rights attorney Gloria Allred will be in a Boston area courtroom Wednesday in an attempt to unseal the sworn testimony given by Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, in a prior court case, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
"The Boston Globe is headed to court tomorrow morning for an emergency hearing in an attempt to obtain a court order to unseal the sworn testimony given by Mitt Romney in a prior court case and to lift a gag order so that the parties can speak about Romney. Gloria Allred will be in court representing one of the parties in the case," a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com.

  1. Based on what I have just read, I think this is going to backfire on Trump and possibly Romney. To most people married for any length of time the things coming out so far are nothing that most married couples face in the process of life. Doubts, insecurity, failure, etc.

Unless it is something more then fiscal failure, depression, etc. this is simply no big deal. If anything, it is going to create sympathy for Obama and reinforce Trump as a sleeze ball.

  2. Should be fun. Obviously the Allred action is purely political. There is no reason to believe there is any need to bring this action two weeks before the election.
I don't have a feeling whether Trump's action is a similar pre-planned attack, or retaliation which was triggered by Allred.
On another blog I read that the MA judge is a recent appointee of (Dem) Gov Deval Patrick. There is little or no chance that the judge will say "come back on Nov 7th".
    This baby is going forward...

  3. Oh man I hope that one of the complaints is that he has a small wanger. Then, even if he wins the election, he still loses.

  4. I think Trump risks humanizing Obama and garnering sympathy. Could be seen as an attack on Michelle and feed into the WAR ON WYMYN theme.

  5. I bet the story on the Obamas is that they at some point ran out of money, were deep in debt, and she couldn't shop any longer.

I love this stuff. It's the best part about politics. And I think most Americans care more about this than policy or facts. You'll hear some blowhard say something like "this is what politics has become" or "let's vote on the issues". At this point, we all know there's nothing materially different between the two. At least you get embarrassing dirt surface that you mock the guy with to lower his credibility has dictator.

  6. Is that all the dirt that can be found on OligaRchy? These are bloodthirsty sociopaths whose depravity knows no limits! I'm sure both of them have done far worse. I just keep hoping that people will see both of these a$$holes for the scum that they are *before* one of them starts WWIII.
