MUST VIEW Leaks so far are Just the Tip of the Iceberg

Judging by this exchange between Rep. Sanchez and a C-Span host, after Sanchez was briefed today on NSA surveillance programs, the government is preparing for much bigger bombshells  be dropped by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.

  1. "All these things are legal." Is she trying to be ironic, or is she an idiot?

I half expected her to start explaining that slavery, or the internment of Japanese, were "legal", as if using the word "legal" is somehow going to convince people that this is right.

    1. Agreed, what Hitler did was "legal" also. It was the resistance that was declared "criminal." To answer your question, she's an idiot and a shill.

    2. Perhaps the point is - All these things should be made illegal so that anyone who engages in them gets a nice new orange jumpsuit and matching wrist and ankle jewelry ...

  2. It is similar to the movie brave heart, where the Brit explains it is his "right" to rape Wallace's wife.

  3. The government has rights and privileges, but we have obligations and duties. Same old, same old.

  4. Unless Snowden has some bombshells waiting to drop, the one's we start dropping in Syria will make everyone forget this in a month.

    1. Yup. A war to distract and divert attention elewhere. Something to "rally the troops".

Some patriotic sounding "Rah! Rah!" rhetoric. (Hey, shooting people or blowing them up is fine. But using gas?! Whoa! That's NOT an approved way of killing people.)

Then remind everyone that "Sacrifices must be made!" to "insure and protect freedom".

Slice the speeches in somewhere between 'American Idol' and 'Dancing with the Stars' and enjoy a nice bump in the approval polls.

      Repeat as necessary.
