Julian Assange: I'm A 'Big Admirer' Of Ron Paul, Rand Paul

"[I] am a big admirer of Ron Paul and Rand Paul for their very principled positions in the U.S. Congress on a number of issues," Assange said during a forum hosted by Campus Reform and transparency organization OurSay.org. "They have been the strongest supporters of the fight against the U.S. attack on WikiLeaks and on me in the U.S. Congress. Similarly, they have been the strongest opponents of drone warfare and extrajudicial executions."

It appears that Assange has a very good understanding of libertarianism, but not how much Rand and the rest of the "libertarian" wing of the Republican Party leaks (pun intended.)

  2. Is Rand Paul the guy we wish he would be?
    Obviously not.
Is he TWICE as good as the next best Senator??
    Obviously.
And I understand that you've got to hold folk's feet to the fire sometimes.

  3. I still say the best ticket for liberty is Bush vs Clinton. Shows better than any other combination how the system works. Makes me feel all hopey changey. If Rand were allowed to wear the ring, it would only be so they could blame him for the collapse. If he tried to change anything, it would not turn out well for him.
