After the fall of the Soviet Union, the former leader of the USSR, Mikhail Gorbachev appeared in a Pizza Hut commercial in the 1980′s. It was a great symbol of the collapse of the Soviet centrally planned system. Russians aren't totally free, but there are much better off because of the collapse.
