Ben and Jerry's: 'We Survived Bernanke'

EPJ reader Ryan Hodinka emails:
I've noticed the manufacturers of some of the food I buy have shrunk their packages recently instead of raising prices. Looks like Ben and Jerry's may have noticed the trend too: their packaging says it's "Still a Pint!," like the company is bragging that its ice cream portions survived Bernanke.

4 comments:

  1. Same with Blue Bell Ice Cream.
    "Still 1/2 gal."
Maybe hedging their bets with the Price Supports problems.

I remember the 60s with comic books: "Still 10 cents".
    Uh-Oh!

  2. Jerry Wolfgang says that this is just Bernanke doing God's work and attempting to kill two birds with one stone by 'fixing the economy' -AND- fighting America's obesity epidemic through his monetary policy.

    1. Thank you! I haven't seen any stupidity out of Jerry yet today (I haven't read all the comments either).
