Las Vegas Man Plans to Sell One Testicle for $35,000 for Medical Trial

A Las Vegas man who makes money from medical trials is planning to sell one of his testicles for $35,000, reports the NY Daily News.

Mark Parisi revealed in a trailer for an upcoming episode of TLC's "Extreme Cheapskates" that he will make the switch with an artificial ball in exchange for the cash....

We need a completely free market in organ sales, so people who need organs can experience a ready supply---not the current system of waiting lists and limits on donations.

  2. For medical trials???? I'm all in favor of a free market for organs, but for a medical trial? I'm not suggesting there should be any law against this, but an ethical surgeon would not do this procedure. And an unethical surgeon should at least worry about liability should the man decide, sometime later, that he wants his testicle back.

    2. What exactly is wrong with selling a testicle for research? Further, in a free market, there would be no liability exposure for the surgeon, unless stipulated in advance. Zero.

    1. A complete set might be worth more. Or would they expect a volume discount?
