How to Eat at McDonald’s When You’re Monumentally Broke

Walt Hickey writes a fun piece, at the new Nate Silver site Five Thirty Eight, on how to eat on the very cheap at McDonald's, based on a number of calories per buck analysis.

The winner is was the Bacon Cheddar McChicken sandwich. For $1.00, you get used to get 480 calories worth of food. In an update, Hickey notes that he has been informed that the BCM now costs $2.00 (File under: The "There is No Inflation" Report).

The new winners is the Sausage Biscuit, which, still at $1.00, provides you with 430 calories of food.

The full report is here.
