  3. Glad you haven't changed your definition of pure libertarianism. Sad you won't correct your past mistakes of calling Ron Paul one.

It's ok to be wrong. Just correct your mistakes and admit when you made a sloppy post.

  4. Here's a preview (Cantwell comments on Adam Kokesh's interview of Cathy Reisenwitz): http://www.christophercantwell.com/2014/05/18/cathy-reisenwitzs-christianity-like-libertarianism/

Cathy Reisenwitz is a Tucker protege, apparently. He should cut the cord. This interview exposes her (and Adam) as intellectual bantamweights. (See the bit about women making $.77. Kokesh thinks in his drug-addled mind that Austrian statistics would value homemaking more in GDP numbers or something.)

I'm convinced libertarians listen to Cathy because she's not horrendous looking and she positions herself as a sex fiend.

    1. As a Bible believing, Jesus following (however imperfectly) Christian, I largely disagree with atheists. But I think they can be valuable to Christians as a thorn in the flesh, lest individual Christians be exalted above measure (2 Corinthians 12:7). The article you linked is one such example. Modern Christianity, at least in the US, is a mess. And atheists have every reason to call Christianity in general out on it, which is shameful in itself. I've read the Bible from cover to cover and have continued to read it nearly daily since, and there's often little resemblance between the teaching in the Book and the way modern, professing Christians conduct themselves. And when you bring this fact up to many so-called Christians, they say exactly what Cathy vomited in that article. "Well, as long as I believe, that's all that matters." Or better yet, "you only have to be a person of faith." Well I have to ask, faith in *what* exactly? There's another 'f' word that should proceed faith: follow. Jesus told his disciples to *follow* him, not to give mere mental assent. So Christians should be thanking Mr. Cantwell; sometimes the flesh must be turned over to Satan to come to repentance.

  5. I hope they stream it. I'd pony up some dough to see it live without having to fly out there.

  7. This means we have to hear 4 more months of the thin vs. thick debate? Ugh.

This should be entertaining though. Popcorn pre-ordered.
