"I Just Ordered Five Copies of 'The Fed Flunks.'"

Louis Piette writes:
I just finished reading The Fed Flunks, a few thoughts:

1. I am glad that you included, in the introduction, the email exchange you had with the Fed economists that led up the your invitation to the NY Fed. I have to admit I was genuinely curious as to why you were invited. Reading between the lines, I think you pushed to get into that building and read that speech. You have big balls my friend. That said, I think what you said during that meeting are probably the most important words ever uttered in that building.

We need more libertarians with your fearless nature.

2. Re-reading the speech itself, it reminds me of how great a speech it was. It is the heart of the book that will awaken anyone who reads it to the failures of the Fed. It is the ultimate antidote to mainstream pro-Fed propaganda.

3. I am glad you kept the book short. By being short, it suggests that the task, of trying to understand why the Fed does wrong, is not that formidable. The cover is also great. In short, the book is a great anti-Fed marketing tool. It is pure genius. I just ordered another 5 copies. Three, I am going to give to some friends now and two I am going to keep as ready ammunition to pass on when I come across someone who needs a good dose of reality about the Fed.

Thank you for putting this out.
