Jack Lew Does Saudi Arabia

Running the pocketbook of the Empire is a never say stop job.

On Tuesday, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew will be in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Accordin to the Treasury, the Secretary will meet with senior government officials and business leaders "for discussions on the state of the global economy, as well as regional economic issues. Secretary Lew’s meetings will also focus on other issues of common interest, including continued cooperation on efforts to disrupt the financial and support networks of terrorist organizations."

In the morning, the Secretary will meet with Minister of Finance and Central Bank Governor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Fahad Al-Mubarak.

Also in the morning, Secretary Lew will meet with Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz. T

At 2:30 PM AST/ 7:30 AM EDT, Secretary Lew will participate in a moderated conversation on the state of the global economy at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In the afternoon, the Secretary will meet with business leaders for a roundtable discussion on the state of the global economy.

Later in the evening, the Secretary will depart Jeddah for Jerusalem.
