Correlation Is Not Causation

An important wake up call for econometricians, who just think they can just correlate things in a complex world and come up with sound economics.

The number of people who drowned by falling into a swimming-pool correlates with
the number of films Nicolas Cage appeared in.

The age of Miss America correlates with murders by steam, hot vapours and hot objects.
