President Obama has named nineteen recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The medals will be awarded during a ceremony in the White House on Nov. 24..
In addition to Ethel Kennedy, John Dingell and Stevie Wonder, among others, a medal will be rewarded to econorat Robert Solow.
Most recently Solow has written that in he would be in favor of “taking a dollar from a random rich person and giving it to a random poor person, (which) would lead to a better social state.”
