San Francsico Passes Soda Tax

San Francisco voters passed a tax on sugar-sweetened beverages yesterday.

The revenue grabbing division of the nanny state wins another one.

The measure passed 62 percent to 38 percent.

Most alarming here is the willingness for the electorate to vote in favor of social engineering via taxation. Not good. We will see this again in other sectors.

  1. On the other hand, marijuana legalized in CA. That has vast ramifications. Soda tax a blip by comparison.
