Krugman Goes Misesian (To attack Trump)

Ok, this is something.

Donald Trump takes so many twisting illogical positions that the Lefties with some kind of brain on their head realize that they can actually use sound logic to refute the hated Trump.

Ludwig von Mises made very clear that you couldn't have a mixed economy. That once you started interfering in the economy it would lead to more distortions that would require, from the perspective of interventionists, even more interventions in the economy.

This is what Mises was trying to convey when he wrote in Planning for Freedom:
The middle-of-the-road policy is not an economic system that can last. It is a method for the realization of socialism by installments.

  1. Krugman may "go Misesian" for a few seconds a day, but he hardly exhibits the intellectual consistency of Mises. Krugman's tweet could be played back to him for any number of things he supports, Obamacare being an obvious example.
