Extortion Cameras and Government Revenue Addiction

Paul Huebl explains and has a solution:

Paradise Valley, AZ—The extortion program all started here 20 years ago when this speed-trap town used Photo Radar to more efficiently collect huge amounts of hard cold cash used to run this wealthy Phoenix neighboring hamlet.

The vast majority of the sheep caught simply sent in their money. No cops or follow-up investigation on impairment or for outstanding warrants. Just an extortion letter from local government agency in the mail to add on to everything else during difficult times.

Soon robot extortion traffic enforcement caught on everywhere. Cameras were put up in locations ideal for revenue gathering rather than traffic safety issues. The narcotic of revenue for politicians to steal, waste or give to friends has proven to be more addictive than heroin. Needless to say the vendors that install and maintain the equipment are very generous with their donations to political campaigns.

The troubled Illinois Governor, Rod Blagojevich who is the target of various corruption investigations involving extortion is at the forefront of this plague proposing to put camera speed traps up everywhere on state highways. He suggested that the funds go to crime fighting efforts. Yeah right!

This government by confiscation crap is also underway where Democratic Governor Janet Napolitano is planting the extortion cameras as fast as she can along every highway.

May I be the first to suggest that the extortion cameras will make great long range targets for patriotic and skilled riflemen everywhere?

  1. These cash machines for despots were successfully challenged and defeated in Nevada on the grounds that the cameras don't indicate who is actually driving the car.

  2. I agree I have long thought the targeting of these parasitic Orwellian cash sucking pieces of shit should have been undertaken. I think they would make a fine target at about a hundred yards or so day or night. If not the scum sucking lizards who create these add burdens then at least let us take these devices out in mass and send a message! Cheers!

  3. While I think the cameras are a bad idea in general, maybe in urban areas they could be justified.

My problem is that the cameras are often operated not by police or government, but by private companies who take a very large percentage of the "take" from these machines.

  4. In the UK we're not allowed guns, so taking these things down is tricky and time consuming. In the US you have guns, so you know what to do with speed cameras. Stop them now or you'll be like us in the UK, unable to drive anywhere without being filmed, tracked and spied on.

  5. I just recently fell victim to the bullsh&t Illinois system of "open Tolling". They tell you in big bold print that you can just go online to pay your tolls. In reality, you can only pay 3 PER YEAR, not all. Now I'm in violation. I've already emailed to dispute, but I'm sure this will all drag out anyway. I say SHOOT EM UP!!!

  6. In the Netherlands guns are outlawed. Thus cameras are burned down or spraypainted in fluorescent colors to indicate their lenses have been disabled by same paint. Be creative. It works.

  7. They don't have the money to fix the roads and bridges. But they have plenty of money for this. Do you think there for something more sinister? I say we tear them down and sell them and use the money to fix the highways.

  8. I actually created a system to challenge the legality (on a federal level) of how these photo tickets are issued. I had a lot of tickets dismissed because many of these "citations" are merely unsolicited bills sent out by a private corporation and has no legal authority. They are sent through the mail to resemble real citations issued by a government agency - a violation under U.S. federal law.

  9. Journalist Gary Webb was doing an investigative report on these cameras and the private companies that profit from them when he committed suicide with 2 bullets to the head.
