Sterling Drops to Record Low Against Euro
The pound dropped to a record low against the euro in early tradng this morning.
It dropped to a low of £0.8139 to the euro, its weakest level since the single currency’s inception in 1999.The pound fell to $1.7996 against the dollar, the first time it has traded below $1.80 since April 2006.
