There's a growing internet speculation that Peter Schiff may run for the U.S. Senate seat of Chris Dodd.
Connecticut based-reporter Phil Maymin talked to him about the possibility (ViaLewRockwell).
Schiff would be the most knowledgeable candidate, as far as economics and other domestic issues, in my memory, and his "bring the troops home" foreign policy is a winner.
Schiff also has a television presence I think equal to Obama's. Whereas Obama's personality comes off as sophisticated and charming, Schiff's rapid fire style of answering questions comes off as though he is very sharp and understands complex matters and has solutions that will work. In a chaotic world, Schiff is going to come off as the go to guy that will help get things straight.
