The original early Obama supporter, Penny Pritzker, number 135 on the Forbes 400 list of the wealthiest Americans (Hyatt Hotel money) has broken with Obama on the "Employee Free Choice" Act. The misnamed act will destroy free choice for workers and increase union power by an exponential amount by allowing unions to muscle employees. Wisely, Priztker doesn't want to have anything to do with it:
I have long suspected that Obama doesn't respect Pritzker, only her money. My best evidence for this is that he put her on the President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board. That's where Obama dumped Paul Volcker, also. The board has no influence and appears to be a spot where Obama places those he can't completely ignore, but really doesn't want to hear from.
