Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner will travel to Europe and the Middle East from July 12 – 16, 2009. Geithner will meet with officials in London, England; Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; and Paris, France.

ReplyDeleteIt was an attempt at humor as, due to immigration patterns over the last couple of decades, both Paris, France and London, England have enormous populations of ethnic-Arabs as a percentage of total "minority" populations. Perhaps you've never picked up a "conservative" political magazine and seen people wringing their hands uncontrollably over this fact.
