With Friends Like Kudlow, Who Needs Enemies?

While the real crooks, like Hank Paulson, Ben Bernanke and Tim Geithner, get away with the theft of hundreds of billions, the show trials continue for those outside government who attempted to make a buck during the mad money manipulation of Alan Greenspan and Bernanke.

The latest on stage is Angelo Mozilo, whose crime seems to be making mortgages to those with low incomes who wanted to get on board the great real estate flipping road to riches, and being concerned in emails that the entire thing might collapse at some point. What businessman in his right mind doesn't contemplate what might go wrong with his business? This is a crime?

What does Mozilo's self-described "friend", Larry Kudlow. say about all this? In a twitter post Kudlow writes:

mozilo's a personal friend. so tough for me to say this, but SEC needs to prosecute him to full extent of law. shouldve been crim indictment
