Dick Armey Sounds Like a Big Government Plant

The left wing has been associated with the militant-radical tactics of Saul Alinsky, since Alinsky spouted his first tactic. The left wing link is justifiable, since Alinsky was a left-wing radical from the start. Both ACORN executive director, Steve Kest and President Obama have studied Alinsky's despicable tactics.

The problem with Alinsky tactics are they are dishonest and deceiving.

Now, out of the blue, supposed anti-healthcare organizer, Dick Armey, tells FT he is using Alinsky tactics:
Opponents of Barack Obama’s healthcare proposals are using the tactics of Saul Alinksy, the legendary left wing activist who helped inspire the US president when he was a young community organiser, says Dick Armey, head of Freedom Works, a group fighting against universal healthcare.

Mr Armey, who was the Republican majority leader in the House of Representatives for most of the 1990s, said his group, which is behind many of the “tea party” protests that have disrupted town-hall meetings in the past two weeks, draws consciously on the forms of agitation pioneered by Mr Alinsky.
Keep in mind that Armey was an advisor to DLA Piper, a Washington-based (supposedly anti-helthcare plan) lobbying firm. He just resigned from the firm that had the big pharma firm Bristol Meyers as a client. According to DLA, Armey left "to clear up confusion concerning Freedom Works." Freedom Works is the organization Armey heads that is supposedly using Alinsky tactics.

WTF is going on here? At best, Armey appears to be some sort of idiot. (If you did adopt Alinsky tactics, why would you discuss them with FT? The left doesn't discuss with the media Alinsky tactics, they just implement them). At worst, he is a big government mole, set up to disrupt genuine protest. Associating genuine anti-healthcare proponents with the deceitful tactics of Alinsky only serves to dilute the evilness of the hardcore use of these tactics by the true Alinsky followers, ACORN and Obama.

Bottom line, nobody needs a leader on the healthcare issue. Obamacare is government control of healthcare. If you feel in your gut this is wrong, show up at town hall meetings and let your views be heard. Be careful of the wacky roads taken by the likes of Dick Armey.

  1. I do not care if Mr. Armey's intentions are honest or dishonest. He represents the Federal Government, and is therefore unwelcome to speak for anyone but himself.
