JPMorgan chief, Jamie Dimon, continues to get face time with the president.
The occasion this time is the Business Roundtable. Obama is speaking to the group tomorrow and has then invited a few of the CEOs over for dinner that night.
In addition to Dimon, those invited to the White House for the dinner include:
Ivan Seidenberg of Verizon Communications
David Cote of Honeywell International
Antonio Perez of Eastman Kodak
Ursula Burns of Xerox Corp
Indra Nooyi of PepsiCo
Michael Duke of Wal-Mart
The Business Roundtable got lots of face time with Obama staffers on health care reform. The work I did for Jane Hamsher revealed numerous BR's visitors.
ReplyDeleteDavid Cote is rumored as an Obama appointment to the Deficit Panel, along with Andy Stern and Alice Rivlin.
The Reds and Blues are competing hard for corporate cash. Even Charlie Rangel is calling for corporate tax cuts.
