Peter Schiff Set to Launch Television Ad Campaign

It appears Peter Schiff is about to launch his first senate campaign television ad, according to the Hartford Courant.

Schiff is coming off a strong debate performance and has roughly $1.5 million in the campaign coffers. A person close to Schiff told me, "It's not Linda McMahon size money, but we think it will expand awareness right now."

Schiff, widely praised for his showing in the first debate among GOP Senate candidates, has never run for elective office before and remains unknown to a significant percentage of the state's electorate. It would make sense that he'd try to build on what Rick Green calls a "real and honest" performance last week.
