Consumer Reports or Government Reports?

Brian Erickson emails:
Just a note about the ongoing smear by the MSM. An AP story announced that Consumer Reports issued a "Don't Buy" warning on the Lexus GX460, a luxury SUV. http://news.moneycentral.msn.com/provider/providerarticle.aspx?feed=AP&date=20100413&id=11403778

The story calls the vehicle "unsafe." But buried in the last few paragraphs they state that CR has not heard of any vehicles actually rolling over as they fear it might. In fact CR's own tests resulted in NO ROLLOVERS, only skidding.

They are reporting on a non-story as if it was real. I am extremely disappointed in CR which I have occasionally used but have lost all trust in them now.  It is revealing how the government and its government motors can apparently scare a supposedly independent subscription-based news source into subterfuge and deceit. This kind of disservice to their customers deserves a BOYCOTT of Consumer Reports.
