Deputy Treasury Secretary Neal Wolin's second day in Beirut, Lebanon will include meetings with Parliamentary Budget Committee Chair Ibrahim Kanaan, Central Bank Vice Governor Mohammed Baasiri and Telecommunications Minister Charbel Nahas to discuss the state of the Lebanese economy and the status of the government's economic reform agenda.
Deputy Secretary Wolin will also meet with business leaders and representatives of the Lebanese financial sector to discuss financial reform and prospects for future economic growth in Lebanon.
In the afternoon, the Deputy Secretary will visit a USAID job creation site, specializing in food processing.
