What an Insider Annual Meeting Looks Like

Carlyle Group held its annual investor meeting at the Ritz-Carlton in D.C.'s West End last week, reports WaPo.

An international crowd of 900 individuals and pension fund reps showed up.

The crowd heard from former secretaries of state Colin Powell and Madeleine Albright, "Meet the Press" host David Gregory and political wag Bill Kristol, as well as former Treasury secretaries Robert Rubin and Hank Paulson, reports WaPo.

The rock band, Chicago, played. It is not know if the band played songs strictly from their 2003 released album, What's It Going to be Santa?
