Banksters Win, Again

Ireland has formally applied for a bailout from the European Union and the International Monetary Fund, Brian Lenihan, the country’s finance minister, said Sunday, NYT is reporting.

The bailout is anticipated to be just over $100 billion.

This will, of course, be paid for by the citizens of Ireland, who will now face higher taxes and budget cuts.
