China Raises Bank Reserve Requirement

The PBOC has raised the reserve requirement by 50 basis points. This is the fourth hkie this year.

The impact of these gradual attempts at slowing Chinese money growth haven't had a significant impact to date on the economy, but at some point it is likely to send the Chinese economy into recession. Any purchases of Chinese stocks should be conducted at the present time with utmost caution.
