White House Says Warren Buffett To Get Presidential Medal Of Freedom -- On The Same Day He Praises Bailouts

The White House has announced that Warren Buffett will be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the governments's highest ranking civilian propaganda piece .

Past recipients include Alan Grrenspan, John Kenneth Galbarith, David Rockefeller, Laurence Rockefeller, Nelson Rockefeller, William F. Buckley, Irving Kristol, Henry Kissinger, Colin Powell, Cesar Chavez, Jesse Jackson, Tony Blair, Donna Shalala, Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney. Nuff said.

Friedrich Hayek, Duke Ellington and Ted Williams are among the few decent people to receive the medal.

Buffett has become quite the political ass kisser. He published an Op-Ed today praising the bailout. Addressing the letter to "Uncle Sam", he signed off, your "grateful nephew."

Buffett's father, Howard, who was a friend of Murray Rothbard's, must be turning in his grave.

The only medals worth getting in the United States these days are either of these two.
