In September, food stamp usage climbed another 1.6% to 42.9 million Americans or approximately 14% of the US population per the WSJ. With 14% of Americans on a food stamp program tied to the CPI, I can start to picture calls for price controls as the effects of Bernanke's money printing start hitting the store shelves. And, they will also start monkeying even more with the CPI.
And, the CFTC will start monkeying with position limits and commodity ETFs. Good news is you'll always be able to buy T-Bonds.
