The Securities and Exchange Commission has named Eileen Rominger, an 11-year veteran of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, as its new director of investment management, reports Investment News.
“Eileen brings the agency a lifetime of experience in the asset management industry and a record of strong leadership,” SEC Chairman Mary L. Schapiro said in a statement. “She understands the importance of the nation's investment management industry to the well-being of investors everywhere.”
