What's in the Water at GMU?

Donald Boudreaux became chairman of the department of economics at George Mason University in August 2001 and stepped down in August 2009.

He currently blogs at Cafe Hayek where he has listed history's Top Ten economists, which in his view is actually 18 economists.

He lists as number one F.A. Hayek, who was a student of Ludwig von Mises. Where does Mises land on the Top Eighteen? Nowhere.

This is simply absurd.

I wonder if Einstein is in the GMU blackhole?

  1. saw that list.

I would say that Mises would top MY list of economists who should have been on that list. And there were several that I had to kind of say "who"?
