Highest Price Ever for January Gasoline

Entering the last full week of January, the average price of a gallon of gasoline stood at $3.11, up 40 cents from a year earlier. It has never cost so much in January to fill your tank.

With Bernanke printing away, don't expect any let up in the price. The summer vacation driving season is likely to result in higher prices, month after month.
