Keith Olbermann, who was released from his “Countdown” news show on MSNBC, will announce his next television home on Tuesday, and people familiar with his plans say a possible deal with the public affairs channel Current TV is in the works, reports NYT.
Current TV has former Vice President Al Gore as one of its founders. According to NYT, Olberman will have an equity stake in Current TV.
